4th Grand rendez-vous de la déficience intellectuelle

The Point d’Appui Foundation will participate in the 4th Grand Rendez-vous de la déficience intellectuelle, organized by the Société québécoise de la déficience intellectuelle (SQDI), to be held at the Lévis Convention Center.

This annual event will bring together stakeholders committed to addressing key issues, including access to public housing, inclusion, and social participation for people living with intellectual disabilities.

Meet Our Founders

We are three parents united by a shared reality, a shared dream, and a shared determination: to provide our young adults living with intellectual disabilities with a secure, fulfilling, and dignified future.

Faced with a lack of resources tailored to their long-term needs, we decided to take matters into our own hands. That’s how our nonprofit organization was born, with a clear mission: to create a permanent living environment where our young people can thrive, grow, and live their lives to the fullest.

We believe they deserve much more than just a place to live. They deserve a home for life—a stable, caring, and safe environment where they can develop their independence, foster meaningful social connections, and grow while their dignity is respected.
